Supporting the “Save Sarah” initiative

Neutrarust is proud to announce its support for the “Save Sarah” project.

The Ex-RNLB “Sarah Townsend Porritt – ON 886” is a lifeboat from the 1950s and has a history to be proud of – she carried out a total of 95 launches and saved 43 lives.

  • Lytham St Annes – 79 launches and 35 lives saved
  • Howth – 2 launches, with 1 life saved.
  • Workington – 1 Launch
  • Lytham St Annes – 3 launches
  • Tenby – 4 launches, with 3 lives saved
  • Fleetwood – 6 launches, with 4 lives saved

Volunteers are now working on a restoration process to save her from being dumped in the scrapyard. Our rust converter and rust removal solutions are helping bring Sarah back to her former glory. Once the restoration has been completed, she will be used for educational purposes and will be available for mental health relaxation trips.

We look forward to updating you on the progress of the restoration.
